Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico was my favorite part of the whole vacation this trip. It has a rainforest, so it was very humid. I love being hot!! We went to El Morro and Downtown San Juan. I loved learning the history of PR at El Morro. We also went to Barrachina Restaraunt, twice. Most people speak Spanish and English fluently and switch back and forth with no problems. Except for the taxi driver who thought we said "Royal Caribbean" instead of "Caribe Hilton" which was the name of our hotel. This lead to an unnecesary ride to the port. Oh well. Our second day there we spent all day in El Morro and took tons of pictures! Then we lost our camera in the taxi ride home. No worries, there was a best buy on San Juan, so problem solved. We would go back to PR in a heartbeat! Really want to do the Rainforest and bioluminescent bay! Anyone want to come?

Triangular staircase, very TALL steps!

View from Our balcony at Caribe (our own personal fort)

We always need one "toes and sand" pic

Just relaxin', love the humidity, sun and our umbrella!

Crash!

Downtown San Juan, looking for stray kittes :)

My new house

Love the tall doors and windows, simply stunning

El Morro Fort, this is where the Spanish kept pirates and other countries out of PR! (at least until the Americans came)

The flag on the left is a historic spanish military flag.

La Perla is straight ahead. I guess you never want to go there! It looks ok from here.

The walls of the El Morro are 18' thick!

HONEYMOON 1.19.2012-1.31.2012

Just arrived home from our honeymoon cruise. We had a lot of fun and laughs with each other and our friends, Lori and Chris. We want to say thank you to everyone who sent us gifts and helped us make this trip very memorable. Love you guys....
This was our first night on the ship, we watched the 49rs lose, a very romantic night! I got to comfort William ;)
